Ceratozamia zoquorum

Ceratozamia zoquorum was a new species described in 2001. Occurring endemically in the Mexican state of Chiapas. Plants grow on steep slopes under a closed canopy of tropical rainforest. This species has having thick leaflets that have a metallic look. Additionally, zoquorum has yellow articulation at the rachis that makes it very identifiable.
