Ceratozamia miqueliana is well known in cultivation and yet still rare.  It makes a stunning garden specimen.  When juvenile the leaflets are very wide and rounded as well as glaucous blue colored.  Larger specimens have more narrow leaflets that stack like venetian blinds.  The species occurs from Veracruz to Chiapas and populations are known from high elevation forests all the way to lowland seasonally flooded forest.
